Feature req: toolbar brightness/contrast+remember positition

1) I'd really like to be able to easily change the brightness/contrast for a movie without going the ^E (Extended Panel) route.
Basically add two sliders (or two sets of up/down buttons) to the Toolbar Elements in the Toolbar Editor for brightness and contrast (the two most used controls).

2) Since there's so much problem with the monitor power off issue, I'd like to be able to stop the movie (to allow monitor to turn off) and then when I turn it back on, I want to resume where I left off. Fixing the (currently closed) issue with the monitor power off problem would make this less necessary.
