VLC & converting to MP3 as VBR or ABR

Hye,

Didn't find or not implemented in VLC 1.2.0 (20111008) the ability to convert to MP3 as Joint Stereo with VBR or ABR instead of CBR options.

AFAIK not implemented. Twolame has this option so it should be possible to add same kind of options for Lame.

LAME definitevely has the VBR, AVR, etc. options.

On the homepage (http://lame.sourceforge.net/)

You mean in VLC, well it should be just to all the LAME options in a new GUI.
