Color Saturation

Postby elpola123 » 23 Sep 2010 11:52

Hi,

Im a new user to vlc and want to know, if there is some way to control de saturation color in a capture process, not the adjustments when displaying.

I have a canopus ADVC55 capture device, conected to the PC using firewire and with RCA conector from an analog device to the capture device.

i go to "convert" select the capture device, (ddshow) select the output file name (ej. test.mpg) selecting the codec MPG2 TS,
then starting to convert to a file and at the same time watching the video.

My problem comes that there is to much saturation in the final file. If i play the file, in the filters menu i can change the saturation so it goes to what i want, but if i give the file to someone else, then he is going to see the color to much saturated.

is there any way to change the saturation level to another value in the capture process? so the final file is going to be with the desired color.

thanks in advance.

p.d.: sorry, my english is rusty!!!
