Make audio/subtitle track selections persistent

Postby Guest » 26 Apr 2005 03:56

Like many of the shamelessly geek, I use VLC primarily to watch anime (in Japanese of course; no self respecting anime nut listens to those horrible dubs.)

At any rate, it's a minor nuisance having to turn the subtitles back on and re-select audio track 2 (where the Japanese track tends to be) every time a new clip is loaded.

Next release will have some preliminary support for options like "use japanese audio language" and "use english subs" for file formats that store language info.
