One of the most frustrating things I find about VLC is its lack of even the simplest bookmarking system.
There is a bookmarking system in the player, however it 'forgets' all the information in it upon closing/reopening the player [tested using 1.1.0 on mac, windows, and linux, and this issue has been there since at least the 0.8.x days].
Is there any effort being made to actually make the bookmarking system useful?
