the VLC Bookmarks save track and position already. You'd be doing a great service to mankind by making those puppies save after program exit. It'd be even better if you could give them a text label, too
As relatively simple a feature that this is (or appears to be to me as a non-programmer), saving track AND position too is something I can't find in any other media player, much less one like VLC that does it all.
