RTSP / RTP based multicasting stream for H264 video

Good Day!

I am working on RTSP based RTP streaming for H264 Video.

In that i am interested to do the Multicast based streaming.

While doing so, i am having few doubts. Could anyone please clarify?

With respect to the following site http://docs.real.com/docs/g2multicast.pdf in real player these two multicasting features are available.
Namely,
a. Back channel Multicasting
b. Scalable Multicasting

Here, i am interested to do Back channel multicasting sort of design.

1. Is this kind of Back channel multicast based streaming available for VLC player?

2. Please let me know the steps to follow?

3. By default VLC player send the unicast command in SETUP signal, how to get the multicast support?

Please let me know the details.
