Hi there.
First of all, I want to say I am glad to see VLC 1.1 making steady progress. You guys are full of nice surprises.
Also, it's was nice to see that it will play .AOB files. Support for DVD-Audio was the last step to achieve full compatibility with DVD media, thus making software like WinDVD unnecessary for people without a Bluray drive.
One thing only: Why stop on AOB files, and not include decryption for the CPPM copy protection DVD-Audio discs use?
Open source code for bypassing CPPM has been around for a while (on software like SHAPlay etc) so why not integrate it to VLC?
If it could be done with libdvdcss, it can be done with libdvdcxpm.
