Maybe someone said something about this, but I haven't been able to find that post.
I use Ubuntu, and I don't like the interface of vlc, it doesn't fit my desktop. however, there is an option called "minimal view", I like it, it only shows the video area, very good for small screen and for space optimization, however, I didn't manage to access video controls unless I change to full screen, and happens that full sccreen controls are pretty good (with a transparency and more or less integrated).
So, why can't we activate the full screen control in the minimal view? in windowed mode, it could be usefull if the control would appear the way it does in full screen by mooving the mouse over the video (the botton area of the video could be better).
I think it doesn't need many changes and is a good solution for those who don't like the qt interface on Ubuntu or who like a minimal interface but with all the control.
Whay do you think?
