Any update on Blu-Ray Disc support?

I've searched on Google if VLC will support it, and the threads here are from 2008, so I just wanted to know if there ever will be Blu-Ray Disc Support in VLC? Because I use Cyberlink PowerDVD, and I hate it, I'm just more familiar with VLC, and have used it with all my systems, and would prefer to just have one program to watch all my media.

I just wanted to know if there ever will be Blu-Ray Disc Support in VLC?
I would guess that full Blu-Ray support won't come. You can already play video and audio tracks of ripped BD movies.
