The reason I need so much Musepack SV8 support in VLC is that I've planned to use VLC for streaming in my local (home) network. And since a big part of my music is in MPC...

Obviously not for v1.0, should we expect SV8 support in some 1.x version after all?Most MPC is not SV8... Anyway, we are working on it.

Well, 1.0 should have it, but probably the windows version doesn't have it compiled...
