mozilla plugin : wav support

Could it be possible that the mozilla plugin support all the formats supported by vlc ?

I find it quite unlikely, given the way vlc detects what different streams are. But I guess the mozilla plugin easily could support quite a few more formats, just by adding the appropriate mime types.
