Kernel Streaming Output for VLC
What is Kernel Streaming Output user asks? "Kernel Streaming Output allows bit-exact playback bypassing Windows mixer". This is currently implemented into some other media players, Foobar2000, Winamp, ect. More info

I think Port Audio output should support this already.

you need to compile port audio again with some modifications (look Usage part). I haven't tested this, but I think it should work.

What CloudStalker would like to suggest is that this be put into VLC as an option. For those that want to use the player for music listening, this would be a great way to do so. Well anyway, guess we'll see.

TBH the Kernel Streaming Output is the main reason why I'm using Foobar for playing my audio files instead of VLC.
