Smooth equalizer

Hi there.

The feature I really liked in 0.8.x was the ability to "smooth" equalizer when you moved scroll bars.

Why did you remove this feature in 0.9.x ? I didn't found any information about that in Videolan website (neither in Wiki, forum, mailing lists, or in bugs). Please tell me you're working on it... Or tell me why you removed it. Buggy code ? qt problem ?
In fact, I don't want any other player than VLC to play my media files so that I'm stuck with 0.8.6i on Archlinux.

And I hope equalizer bugs in general will soon be fixed... Thanks in advance, VLC developers.

When I look at this, I think that equalizer part of VLC is being abandonned since 0.9.x release. The feature is here, but are the developers still working on it ?
