Seamless playback

I would really like to have seamless playback back in VLC (set topic on: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=50302&p=161349#p161349). So perhaps this is something for VLC version 1.0

There isn't any solutions yet. I just pointed out that there has been discussion about the issue and that people should understand the problems explained in those messages.

VLC_help unfortunately the option is not implanted in version 9.8a. Is there a period in which we can expect the option back? And is there a way to speed this a little bit up? For instance with a donation?

If you want speed up the process, you can hire a coder implement the feature. I am quite sure it won't come before 1.0.0 because it is major change. 0.9.x is only for bug fixes now. You can also go to IRC and shout bounty, but I am to not sure if it will help the process
