Request: read ISO's

Postby ToddAndMargo » 07 Nov 2008 19:34

Hi All,

Would you please consider adding an option to the open disk dialog that would allow me to play ISO's of DVD?

Many thanks,
-T

You should already able to do that.

Try drag-and-dropping the ISO file onto the VLC media player shortcut. It should then treat it as a normal DVD-Video (assuming it is that).

Arite.

Hi Arite,

I am using Linux. Dragging and Dropping files is not so polished as in Windows.

Please revise my request such that it would give a "File, Open" style dialog to directly
opening an ISO. I would be nice if it was on the DVD tab.

Many thanks,
