Mp3 players support

could we get support for mp3 player like Creative Nomad JukeBox & Dell DJ digital audio players just to name a few and there all ready is a open cross platform library out that has support built for these player its called libnjb http://libnjb.sourceforge.net/ and here is a library for the player that uses Microsoft MTP libmtp http://libmtp.sourceforge.net/ and also i like to see support for flash based mp3 players too but that not a piorty and i mean one that dont have internal storage like they have it on a SD card

I second this request. I need support for a Creative Zen Touch Mp3 player. VLC would do a much better job of creating playlists, organizing songs and finding songs then Creative's own Media Organizer.

There probably not going to support them unless they actually own them and knowing funman up there he's going to want you to buy him one anyways. :P

I did see some patches related to MTP and there is also gsoc 2k8 project so keep your fingers crossed.

There have been patches on mailinglist but AFAIK they haven't been merged yet.
