mkv to avi

Hi all. Is it possible to convert .mkv files to avi or mpeg file so I can convert then using winavi onto dvd.

Why don't you convert directly MKV to DVD-Video using programs such as DVD Flick or FAVC?

You can already convert them top avi.

btw: mkv format crashes often VLC...
