resume of streaming or recording after failure

hi guys,
I've noticed that vlc gui will not resume recording or streaming if the source fail and back up again.

I hope we can fix this.

Did you try enabling the loop option?

you mean under preferences?
I did enable : REPEAT CURRENT ITEM and it didn't work.

where is the loop thing?

Command line it's --loop.
