have UI follow MacOS 10.14 dark/bright mode

Can the VLC dark/bright interface adapt to follow the chosen dark/bright mode in MacOS 10.14 by default? Changeable of course, maybe an added 'Auto' radio button.

VLC will support dark mode on macOS Mojave in version 3.0.5 quite soon.

It's been over two years, but I really hope they make it change automatically, or at the very least make a hotkey for it, so we don't have to go into the Preferences every time we want to change it.

Would love for automatic dark mode / light mode switching to be added to VLC. It's pretty common for macOS apps these days.
