Unable to log in to create a bug report

Postby videobruce » 01 Dec 2010 14:46

After spending over a half an hour trying to find out how to register, then trying to log in and create a 'bug' report, I still can't log in to do so. I registered in that separate page (not available on the bug report page), responded to the e-mail, but my user name still shows unknown.

If someone would C&P the following and create a 'bug' report I would appreciate it:
Playing video files causes the video to freeze after three seconds and unable to 'quit' the program. Audio files are ok.

Version 1.1.5,
XP Pro w/sp3 (it doesn't appear to matter which Windows O/S),
Video files only (doesn't appear to matter which format or how long the clip),
Audio files are no problem,
The only way to close the program is to use Task Manager (or equivalent) to 'end' the process (program).

Observations;
A. It's only video files, audio isn't affected. It doesn't appear to matter what type of video,
B. The video freezes after three seconds, but the audio continues,
C. Once it happens, ithe program is corrupted, it will always happen with a video file, but not audio,
D. You un-install and re-install the program, deleting those four files that are buried under Docs & Settings doesn't fix the problem,
E. It doesn't seem to matter which O/S you are using, or if it is the installer, or self install version,
F. The program appears to work ok until you edit the toolbar and/or resize the screen and/or reposition the window on the desktop. These were the circumstances I found that seem to cause the problem. I have been editing the "Modern" style toolbars, I haven't tried the others yet.
