videplayer with 2 display windows

Hello,
I think I have a weird question:
I am going to run a small independent digital cinema,
and I was wondering if there is any video player which would let me play a video on my extended desktop, BUT which also has a second display window on my main desktop which would let me control the playback of the video.
So, for instance, I'd be playing a film which on my extended desktop, which is projected on a big screen,
but I can access eg. subtitle menus, playback speed etc (basically all the right-click playback options of VLC) from my main desktop...
I don't know if I'm being very clear; but it would basically need to have 2 display windows; one for display only, the other for control/access of video options...
Thanks...
