Automatic subtitle translation

OK, My idea was to develop some kind of automatic translation to subtitles.

I tried to do something on my own, and using the Google API, I am able to take any SRT, and translate to any language (ignore the horific bot translation), but I want to do that live if possible.

So, if I play a movie, and an SRT is playing, I can have my default language, be the one I see when the movie is playing.

This can actually have all subtitle available in any language - this is really awsome.

I woudl ike to know if this can be done? can I have some kind of add-on to VLC?

Maybe I had an idea a bit similar. (But it is just word's translation).
