A change in movie

Postby Cliffs » 27 Nov 2009 03:35

Hy all, new guy here with a tale to tell.

I recently downloaded about 25 fly tying videos for a class I am starting up. Easier to have visuals than just to talk.

I checked each video after downloading and they all were fine.

About a week after obtaining these videos I went to burn them to a dvd and half of them were no longer the videos I downloaded but were all some dance movie, as in each one was a different section of this dance flick. I went back to where I downloaded these vids and reobtained them...they are now burnt to disc and I shake my head at what happened.

I have no evidence of getting hacked and nobody else uses my computer and I don't download anything that isn't free (or in lay terms, is legal to download)....is this weird or what?

Maybe a hard drive failure? A friend of mine once had a similar problem with mp3 files, somehow the hard drive was screwed and later stopped working completely. Maybe you should do a chkdsk.
