Hey there everyone. I'm in a band called Pink Noise, and we just released our first music video. I wanted to pop into these forums and give a shout out to the VLC devs and users about how awesome VLC is. We used some of the built in effects and captured the output to give our video some extra awesome flare.

We are trying to show the world how much cool stuff you can do with free and open source software, as we are pretty big linux nerds. Here's a link to the video:

Just wanted to say again how much VLC rocks, and keep up the good work! We love the program and will always love it!

well, this took a lot longer than an hour. :)

we had our friend who is crazy good with film and video come over and bring her HD camera. We built the sets, did the effects and costumes and it took about 4 months. It is awesome though that you can get all the crazy effects and stuff with free software. I'm excited that media is going back into the hands of the people!
