This may be a silly question but is there any way of burning an album i have downloaded using VLC????? I can use wmp but the songs skip towards the end but they play fine using vlc,

Yup, ClousStalker also recommends Exact Audio Copy for burning bit-identical copies, so long as the source material is a bit-identical rip.In addition InfraRecorder is good for Windows (free and open source whereas Nero isn't). Alternatively, if you want bit-for-bit accurate CD burning, have a look at Exact Audio Copy.
