Anyway to Bookmark w/ Timelines and Hotkeys

Any hack/trick to use VLC to do this...
I currently use a program with advanced bookmarking w/timelines. I can set keyboard shortcut ('hotkeys') that will create a seperate timeline for every time a particular hotkey is pushed. (Ex. set "A" hotkey for every time a character "Adam" is in a scene and it creates a timeline for everytime "A" was pushed.)
EX. "Adam in Scene" 1:14-2:30----5:50-8:15----10:25-12:44-------ETC timeline can be clicked on to jump to those bookmarks
I posted some pictures previously (see links below) of this program. Also, any idea if these two advanced features will show up in the next vlc release? ...thanks!
