As I was watching the Arrested Development marathon, I see a commercial for the Seagate FreeAgent|Go portable hard drive. In the ad they have a guy watching a video using the VLC player on a laptop. The orange and white cone is very visible in the top left hand corner of the program of the screen. Is there some sort of synergy going on between the two?

LOL. It's brief but, here's the ad featuring VLC media player:

It looks to be the older 0.8._ with the wxWidget interface and not the newer 0.9_ with the QT4 interface.

Good promotion for the VLC team, even though it showed up for only 4 seconds
