Project: Viral Effect
Posted: 07 Aug 2008 23:05
Hi guys,
Two of my friends and myself have developped a cool project which will be done like a week, and I'd like it to go viral.
Its caracteristics are:
- It is a unifying project,
- It is fun and addictive,
- It just needs a boost and then it will take care of itself.
Thing is, it's been two years that I have stopped being an HardCore coder striving for open-source world domination via skill and time. So I'm really not up to date anymore.
I'd like to know if you guys have any ideas about how to:
- Get the viral effect started
- Find influent people on myspace, facebook or IRC chans
- People with blogs or sitse that might like my project enough to publish an article (either one I wrote or theirs)
- People that just like helping out :p

Since VLC is a big software and forum, and because I appreciate this software (and use it instead of WMP everytime that I can), I thought you would be very good at using the internet in efficient ways!
To sum up, "I think you're great, could you help me?"
