I am wanting to play a CD that I bought on my computer and have the music recorded onto my computer in the OGG format so that I can take the CD to my car and be able to play the music from the harddrive. Is there GPL software that will do this?
If this is illegal, please inform me and I will not try to do the activity described.

you can use cdex on windows (
http://cdexos.sf.net)
or sound-juicer on linux (
http://gnome.org)
they have nice interfaces.
this is perfectly legal provided you have purchased the CD of course

u should convert the video file to others like voa, m4v and so on. Doing this is quite easy with some useful softwares.
