For all you Firefox users out there who think that this wed browser's a little slow in loading pages, check this out:

How To Speed Up Firefox (2007)

It's actually working, for me anyway. 8) You might want to give it a try. Post back if it works.

I totally understand what you're saying. I was about to ditch this web browser myself in favor of Opera browser, which seemed quite a bit faster, but I'm not quite used to it, considering all of Firefox's plug-ins and stuff, so I'm kinda using both of them. I figured that those who prefer Firefox might want a bit more of a boost in loading pages, that's pretty much why I posted this. :)

Yeah,I found Firefox couldnt render this site properly because its a long page full of images etc.
http://greaterlosangeles.blogspot.com/
Plus it was very slow in other ways.
I cant understand why folk rave about FF i think its poor,so i use another Trident based browser
or IE7.
Hey i cant see myself getting shut of VLC though, :D its top rate

all you need are a few addons.

I found a more recent "How to" for boosting FireFox's Speed. There are many more tweaks in here then there were in the previous link.
