Dude, where's my T-shirt

Some time ago, I saw that VLC was selling T-shirts with the logo that had just then recently won a graphical contest of sorts. You were invited to pay some money, support VLC and get a narly T-shirt in return. I paid via PayPal (loooong time ago) and waited. And waited... To this day, which seems like roughly six months or more later... No T-shirt... What gives? I don't mind supporting VLC but I don't like being tricked like that.

What gives?

OK. That is not normal at all. I'll give on eye on it.

I've read something similar to this before, and DJ responded. Are you the same person? I hope this minor oversite doesn't affect your view of VideoLAN as a whole. Even I'm sorry about this and I had nothing to do with it. :P

I did get a response from DJ, not one that helped much though - he told me to go online in IRC and find out who was responsible... I tried, I couldn't figure out how I was supposed to do that from there... But I got a lot of sympathy :-) Always something I guess... This was a long time ago, but I did check my PayPal account after a few weeks and the money had been transferred to you - I can still get some sort of PayPal receipt for it (ID # 7YC745961R685804M). According to PayPal, the money was transferred November 6, 2006 (!) a looong time ago :-) I believe the price for a T-shirt was €15 or even less, I transferred €19, maybe that got things confused - the system treated it like a donation and not a T-shirt payment - or I did something wrong... Whatever...

I still like VLC a LOT and I recommend it to everyone I know, and I'm glad to help out with funding - as should we all - in order to make sure there will be a VLC in the future as well, I just feel like - well - I want my T-shirt (XL please)... :-) Partly in order to spread the gospel...

All the best,
David Igra
