i installed the vlc-0.8.6a-win32 version and tried to play Das Boot movie i just got .
video in player is way to dark, cant see the movie ..
how do i fix this ??

What's your operating system?

well you know what, you could upgrade to vlc-0.8.6-bugfix-win32.exe and delete the "vlc" Application Data folder: C:/Document and Settings/Use (you)/Appliaction Data (folder is hidden, make this visible)/vlc.

This is going to reset your previous settings and possibly fix your problem. Haaave ah good one!
