Hello, not necessarily a VLC "problem", but I've recently started getting K-Lite Codec update message, and am not sure where K-Lite may have come from. Was it possibly somehow included with one of the many VLC updates? Other than that, you guys familiar with it, or have any ideas?

VLC has nothing to do with any codec pack, VLC does not use any external codecs but its own built-in codecs.
I have no idea about what happened on your computer but it sounds like it was bundled with some installer.
