YouTube and VLC

A lot of users probably know this, but I mention this idea as I use it a lot.
As it maybe of some use to some.

If I am working on Code etc, I often have something in the back ground pod cast etc.
For purpose of visual, I copy the link in U -tube and open VLC and CMD/N and paste into VLC and watch in the corner of the screen.

Hope that makes sense.

Heh, big thanks @robchisholm, it's brilliant!

I've been using VLC for nearly two decades, but I've never noticed this feature.
When pressing CTRL+N in VLC (Open Network Stream), it actually hints you about this.
Just too bad I've never taken notice of it.
