Console VLC Player - cvlc

I'm seeing references to cvlc in documentation. Is this a seperate download somewhere for this? Thanks.

nope, it's an alias to the normal player to start in console mode. I don't think it's set up in windows like that, but it is on linux for sure and maybe others.

On windows you'd have to run on the command line or make an appropriate shortcut to do the same thing something like vlc --intf=dummy
