Ever since the last windows 10 upgrade about ten days ago, my audio is all screwed up. All audio, whether its vlc player, or watching vidoes online, sounds horrible. I've tried deleting the audio drivers on my MSI computer which I just bought about a month ago but that doesnt help. I've tried adjusting the audio in VLC player and it changes nothing. Everything sounds tinny, high pitched and likes its coming through a tunnel. Except for the first second I start a video - it sounds fine for about one second - then it changes to that horrible sounding tinny, high pitched tunnel sound. I've also tried fiddling with the audio controls in vlc player under audio options but nothing works. I'm at wits end, I can't watch anything anymore the audio is so horrible.

During a Windows upgrade,Windows not always finds the right drivers.
Have you looked to the Website of the PC manufacturer? It is better to download the most recent drivers for your motherboard there.

Ok thanks I will go to MSI's website and try to reload my drivers, thanks. I did not think of that.

I had a similar issue when updating to Windows 10. It's like the audio was distorted or something. Reloading the drivers fixed the problem :-)
