The VideoLAN Forums

I could not find any mention of DADVSI, the law currently discussed in France that would impose something similar (more restrective from what I currently gathered) to DCMA. Are Videolan developers not worried about this law, or just unaware of it?
I must say I have troubles really understanding its consequence for free software (and for the rest).
