corrupt wmv files

Greetings , I cannot play a wmv file . its like 2gigs .
says cannot read . how can I fix this file to watch . its a 21st birthday party .
I tried most downloads from net so far .

Try to remux the file with
AsfBin(Win) and force the recreation of the index in the options.

Hi, I am newbie.
I came here just because I have the same problem. I need to repair my corrupt wmv files due to it is a important family video about my grandma.
And I Know VLC can fix damaged MP4 and AVI Files. How about WMV? Anybody knows?

Try to remux the file with
AsfBin(Win) and force the recreation of the index in the options.
This works with me perfectly!
