Today I was transfering an avi file on a computer. I first changed the name of the file and was transfering it and it stopped. I then transferred the other two files but this file must have gotten corrupted.

What can I manually do to restore this file? I don't have administrative access so I need to figure out how to restore the video. Can anyone help me?

no real way to repair it i'm afraid. normally copying and pasting/renaming is all safe and can't corrupt data. something must have happened before. if you were using a usb drive, make sure you always safely remove & if it asks you that your usb drive is corrupt, would you like to repair it, consider the data already damaged.
