I don't know if I am being blind here but please! What dose the C mean?!

Its cone isn't it.... I knew it was going to be something as simple as that

Actually, the C used to stand for Client, a relic from an era long since gone, where VLC was the client of a Server/Client package... ...things were SO much more complicated in those days. *sigh* But anyway, now you what the C used to mean. Now VLC is an acronym that means nothing. Hope this clears this up for you.

As TheBigTime001 said the "Client" term isn't relevant now as both client and server elements were merged into VLC.
