Intermission on Peter Pan bluray

When I press pause on ps3 when watching peter pan, it plays an intermission video that ends when I press play. I know almost nothing about DVD structure. But, I've never seen this before. Do you know how it is done?

bluray is advanced. i think it uses java which allows more options over dvd. wreck-it ralph does this too.
