Should I make MKV files of all my DVDs?

Hi guys,

I wonder if I should do MKV files instead of VIDEO_TS files? All my DVD Video files are VIDEO_TS but do you think it's better to have them as MKV files. The reason why I ask you is because the files don't get the Menues from the DVDs when you make them as MKV so I don't know what to do. I hope someone can give me some good advice on it.

Regards,

Krister

Handbrake does select Titles (1 to nn) plus does retain chapters, but - -
ask Handbrake to support more information out of the menue:
most important for many will be the title text
more complex will be title-picture - - where to store it ??
good luck !
PS performance of handbrake is excellent:
125 fps on a new mac air i5
many more with next release using GUP (currently Beta)

HB doesnt support more information out of the menue:
use MKV for ripping - then you can more easily copy title-names
then use Handbrake
PS performance of handbrake is excellent with QSV (intel+win) on newer CPUs
125+ fps on a new i5
