Just joined, though I've been using VLC for some time, albeit trivially.

Question: I have a relatively new Windows machine and a new Android phone. Anyone know of a (simple/newbie) "best practices" document or discussion?

On Windows my "Music" folder has accumulated a lot of cruft - 22 different filetypes represented. I want to clean out what VLC can't use, and structure what is left so that it will work reasonably on Windows and Android.

(Didn't want to start another thread if there is one, and this seems like a newbie question.)
