I play Classic Rock, Metal, Country Pop, R&B, Blues and more without any commercials, I also have an ASCAP licence to broadcast copyrighted music, I don't charge I don't talk and i don't play any commercials, some of you guys might have already heard my station, last month I had over 1000 VLC listeners alone in 3 days. but since that bug in the new VLC my listeners have dwindled down to 0 for the last 2 days

if you already have Centanova cast all you need to do is open VLC and click Stream and then "network" and type in your ICECaST stream directory found in your ICECAST directory on your streaming computer if your need help then ask me I did mine just yesterday

I'm sure not too many people have an ICECAST, but I was just wondering how many VLC DJ's we have in the forum. I use a dedicated PC for mine anyway

Yesterday was a HUGE day for my radio station, it have over 200 more listeners then usual, all VLC related, and I am grateful, I do this broadcast thing for fun, and because I have a passion for music, I can but will never advertise or talk on my ICECAST, it's not about what I have to say, it's about my listeners enjoyment with the music I play. VLC has been good to both a majority of my listeners AND my radio station. I am happy to say as long as I live there will be
"The Angel Classic Rock Mix" on the internet air waves along with all the rest of the 1000's of ICECAST RADIO stations out there

you can listen on a cell phone or tablet too but you may need to go to my streaming website and click or push the Winamp Logo, to download a playlist file and run that winamp playlist file under VLC, but first you many need to give VLC assess to all files on your device in order to do this first

How To Listen To My Personal Radio Station With VLC On Cell Phone or Android

download VLC from

download a Winamp Playlist here "download link because it's hard to push on android"

and open the following playlist with VLC

once you download the playlist go to "Recent files" and press the file each time to play my station instantly on a cell phone or android tablet

IMPORTANT: once you can hear it playing navigate to VLC app and press to see the artist and name of song playing

hit the play icon to stop or turn off playback

Just to update you guys on my IceCast Online radio station in which can stream onto both windows OS and Android along with the free VLC app you guys I'm sure know all about.

I am renewing my ASCAP license next month and have only been broadcasting for exactly one year to this month. But it's been rough getting the word out, technically I have an over 21,000 song playlist with currently one listener right now. I am hoping more of your forum attenders would give my station a try, just to see if it's worth your time, people seem to like it but not sure it's not real popular in-spite of this foreign website that is somehow lying about my station for some reason,


for some reason this one radio directory says I'm the most popular Station in the United States But? and according to what I see under my server results that is defiantly not true in fact I get about 4-9 listeners within 24 hours most days and I can't even be sure whether of not they are bots, because they tune in for 8 hours with 2 IP addresses that Centova Cast picks up

because the user agent is axios 0.26.1 with an ever changing UK IP but the 2nd IP seems like it's more accurate because it's location changes but no matter what the 1st IP is changed to the 1st IP is always at the same location

.bc.googleusercontent.com and the 1st IP always starts with a 34 or a 35. Most times I can't even tell where my listeners are from because they are using a VPN or Class E Network according to further data, yes I do try to see where my listeners are from but I also tell my listeners where I'm from in my radio Station's title. I do no criminal activity whatsoever I just like to see what parts of the world are turned in sometimes, usually one at a time for the last 8 months straight I've had less than 5 listeners at one time

Hi I can't edit my previous post in my other thread but those who followed it need to know that there is a new download link I need to present for those interested in listening to my ICECAST radio station,

with the following link you can listen with VLC on PC or any mobile device on the go just click the new link below to download a pls file and open this .pls file with any version of the VLC app both mobile or on PC, I play no commercials and I don't talk either it is strictly music only

I play Classic Rock, Alternative, Pop , R&B, Country, and more in a mix format, 64k stream it sounds great

for those who downloaded the old file might need to redownload it so it will still work since my host changed the link you need to highlight the following link and go to this link to download

Hi I now included my voice in 58 recorded DJ talk messages on my online radio station, some of these messages include messages of what kind of music I play, and how to listen. of course I said in at least one of these messages mentioning the VLC app and Clementine, I talked about my Facebook page briefly and

I now even give out short history lessens about popular music artists and bands in between the songs, I hope some of you guys and girls in this internet forum can join me and my usual 4-8 listeners a day in a 24/7 daily broadcast.
