horizontal flip on Facebook

Recently a friend posted a live video of our band from his laptop. It was horizontally flipped. BTW- Facebook no longer offers tools to correct this.

I down-loaded a copy of this and used VLC to correct this. This worked great! I double-checked afterwards and the video looked great.

I then posted this back on Facebook. It looked fine after the upload.

I left Facebook and return a short time later and found it had been flipped back so it all looked backwards again!

I repeated the above and renamed the file ~ after a second posting.... it STILL got reversed! Is this a known problem with Facebook? curious. and, is there any way to keep this from happening? bob
