How to start VLC.exe Windows 7 with an mp4 file?

How to awaken Windows 7 from hibernation with a player-program so that it will immediately play a designated file, mp3 or mp4, etc. ?

I wish to have Task Scheduler start VLC.exe in the AM for me from overnight hibernation and have VLC play a music file for me.

All I seem able to do is to awaken Windows 7 but not to start a media player with a designated piece of music.

I have followed the instructions for Task Scheduler as best as I could interpret them but am not able to do the job I want done.
