new old guy needs help with Icecast Genre

Hi and yes, I am new to this forum and would appreciate the help of those more knowledgeable than myself. If this is not in the right section, then possibly an admin could move it to the proper part of the forum. I am just an old guy who likes VLC for a number of reasons and utilize it primarily to listen to audio, so it shouldn't be overly complicated for those more experienced than myself. I use Windows XP and Vista and have VLC 2.0.5. One of my prime sources of entertainment is listening to the radio streams from Icecast and finding new stations. However, there are so many streams that I need to be able to segregate them into genres in order to narrow down the search for new stations of which I am unaware presently. I have searched on this forum site and on Google and am coming up empty handed. I have no trouble with anything working improperly as far as I know. I just seem to be missing a column header on the Icecast station listing for genre and am unable to find an option or adding it. If some of you would lend a hand or give me some hints, I would be more than appreciative. I have no programming skills, but can follow directions when they're clear enough. Then, I'll owe you a beer the next I see you.
