I've just been using utilizing the Android ARMv7 build on my Nexus tab, and I wanted to give some kudos to the developers. Local play was superior to other video players (tried native, MOBO player, MX Player, as well as player built into ES File Explorer). Also, it is the only player that worked when accessing movies on a shared network drive. That is a huge plus so I can WiFi stream from my desktop computer to the tab as I lounge in bed, and do not have to write the file to the tablet's hard drive (and then delete and repeat). Pretty great stuff when the beta works better than other established players. Resuming play at pause point if I switch to a different app and back and forwarding are buggy on the network streaming, but that's it. I may be imagining things, but I left the MX Player codec pack on when I uninstalled that player (and before I re-installed VLC) and it seems to have helped HW accelerated playback on VLC. Great work! - Looking forward to experiencing future developments!
