Use VLC visualizations with Windows sound

Postby Phatso727 » 30 Sep 2012 05:53

I was wondering if it was possible to use VLC's vizualization (Specifically Scope) with Windows sound. Are the visualizations pre-rendered with the sound? Or are they created in real time. I'd assume they'd be pre-rendered, but if that was the case, it'd make what I want to do impossible.

I've used VLC for a long time now, thanks for all the work you do.

visualizations are, of course, real time. But you cannot plug them to Windows sounds.
